Certificate of insurance paperwork for vendors working at 21 East 22nd Street

Resident sign-in

What it does

Before an outside vendor (electrician, plumber, HVAC technician, appliance repair, delivery crew…) may work in an apartment at 21 East 22nd Street, the building's managing agent, Wallack Management Company, Inc., requires a certificate of insurance naming the building, a workers' compensation certificate and a signed indemnification agreement. This portal collects that paperwork for a resident's vendor visit so that it is complete the first time:

  1. The resident creates a request for the visit and the vendor receives a private link.
  2. The vendor sees exactly what the building needs, forwards ready-made instructions to their insurance broker, uploads the certificate, and signs the building's indemnification agreement online. Each certificate is checked automatically against the building's requirements and the vendor is told what, if anything, must be fixed.
  3. The resident countersigns, and the complete packet is emailed to the managing agent with the superintendent and the vendor copied. When the managing agent approves, the vendor is told they are cleared.

How it uses your Google account

Residents may connect their own Google account in Settings. The portal then asks Google for two things, each used for one purpose:

Google sign-in is used only to confirm your email address. Tokens are stored encrypted, are never shared, and are revoked the moment you click Disconnect. The full details are in the privacy notice.

Who can use it

Residents of 21 East 22nd Street whose Google account has been registered by the resident who runs the portal. Vendors do not sign in; they use the private link in their email. The portal is run by a shareholder of 13-21 East 22nd Street Residence Corp. and is not operated by or affiliated with Wallack Management Company, Inc. or the cooperative.
